Stawamus Chief

I've painted one of our famous mountains, Garibaldi, More than 10 times.

But always not so attractive painting Stawamus Chief, this is another famous mountain in Squamish.

Because of that shape and color. The most of the parts are not covered by trees but solid rock. I've painted it twice before but only small part of the mountain or from aside.

Finally I painted Chief looking from its front face.

 

Another " a view from my window"

I've been painting more than 10 paintings the scene I saw from my window.
But more likely sunset scene. 

I was thinking to paint some new green leaves coming out after long cold winter.
