Beautuful suunset

A couple months ago, I went out for everyday walking.

All the sudden beautiful sunset starting,
I ran and ran and ran until I got the good spot to take pictures.

Once in a while, I feel like painting flower as I used to paint all the time.

Strange trees

I found some strange shape trees in a trail at the behind of a school.

Looks very interesting to me. So I painted them.

Shannon Fall

I visited Shannon fall several times since I moved to Squamish.
But never thought of  painting it.

It was so bright and sunny day, I decided to go and take photos for my painting.

Just a little imagination

When I couldn't painting a little while, I always can't think of what to paint next.

So just use a little imagination and using my favorite colors.
And I found I like orangy-pink so much!!

Hot days

We have quite hot summer here in Squamish.
I don't like heat but I thought I need to take some pictures for my paintings.

I was walking around some trails then I found this.

Inspired by photo

It's been almost 3 months after I was sitting in front of the canvas.

Because I was in Japan for more than 2 months and I finally finished the painting inspired by photo taken by who I call " Canadian sister" since 1970.

I was going to stop painting winter scene a little while but actually I did it again.

Cold and silence

I took tons of photos last cold and snowy winter.
This is one of them. It was so calm and crisp air around me. Just so beautiful.

International women's art show

I always enjoy participating this show. But I'm not good at painting something under the theme. This year is "Nourish". I don't know this painting is following the theme or not.

I finally made challenge.

Soft sunset

I love painting sunset scene.
The vivid pinkish orange sunset is the best.
But I also like misty one .
Low clouds make beautiful soft sunset after raining.

Never get tired

I've never got tired of painting sunset scene.

How can the nature create such unlimited beautiful colors!!!

Unexpected

Once a while, my painting finishes really unexpected way.

I always have the image how the painting will end.
But sometimes I cant control my canvas and finishes totally different look.
Sometimes better than I thought and sometimes just a junk.

This one is in the middle. Not great but not too bad.

The same trail

I painted this trail for the first time in the summer of 2015.

I wasn't so satisfied because of the top half of the trees.
I didn't know how I should paint.

I finished the same scene 2 and half year later.
I think this one is way better than the first one, I hope.
