A rose

I can't remember how many times I painted red roses.
But this is the first time I painted a single red rose in a little canvas.

I tried to make it real as much as possible. But my poor technique didn't make it so easily.

This is the best one I can do at this moment.

A very strange trail

One of my new Japanese friends, Sachi took me a trail she usually takes her dog for a walk.

When I 'was walking in the trail, nothing different than the other trail.
But we reached at the end of the trail and looked back,
there is a spiral tree tunnel!! So beautiful! I've never see something like this before.

Love painting trees

I've never got tired of painting trees or should say woods.

I'm very bad at painting people and that doesn't attract me either.

But trees, mountains, rivers etc.... Love nature so much.

Looking for the name of the purple flowers

I like going for a walk and I do every day except rainy day. I just don't like to get wet.

I found beautiful purple flowers on my walking route. I took pictures and looked for the name in the Internet. Buddleia, that is!!

I found them in the wild but seemed it should be in the some one's garden.
I love the colour and many tiny flowers join together  and makes one big shape of flower.

Simple landscape

I've been wanted to paint around Okanagan lake again. This is the one with reflection of the hot sun shine and little shade by the tree. Feels more like a moment of relaxation.

The first exhibition along a theme

" Group Itohan" will have a theme for our next exhibition for the first time.
5 of us gave some ideas and " Time" was chosen.

I couldn't think of anything for while. And suddenly came up some scene of space.

I thought TIME is just running all around us and only one moment or one coincidence
pulled me into the other world. It looks like all connected but sometimes not connected at all.
Time forces me into a big swirl of something.

Alone but standing strong

I found a very interesting tree when I was up by Sea to Sky gondola.

This tree stands just alone on one of the rocks and no leaves. And a whole tree looks like twisted by some strong power. Just so different.

Some of the artists have already painted this tree. My first try was failed. Then I tried again.
At first, I was tried to make the tree stood up in my canvas, but that was too much. So I painted it  a little smaller this time.
