Hot days

We have quite hot summer here in Squamish.
I don't like heat but I thought I need to take some pictures for my paintings.

I was walking around some trails then I found this.

Inspired by photo

It's been almost 3 months after I was sitting in front of the canvas.

Because I was in Japan for more than 2 months and I finally finished the painting inspired by photo taken by who I call " Canadian sister" since 1970.

Incredible sunrise scene.

I was going to stop painting winter scene a little while but actually I did it again.

Cold and silence

I took tons of photos last cold and snowy winter.
This is one of them. It was so calm and crisp air around me. Just so beautiful.

International women's art show

I always enjoy participating this show. But I'm not good at painting something under the theme. This year is "Nourish". I don't know this painting is following the theme or not.
